The brief
Part of SAP, Taulia are a major force when it comes to working capital management solutions. Their easy-to-use products and frictionless financing experience unlock business opportunities that other products simply can’t. With over 2 million business already in their network they’re on a mission to continue scaling.
We used our expertise to help them on their journey: equipping them with second-to-none marketing animations to quickly break down the benefits of each product, starting with their Accounts Receivables solution.
Receivables: Two film formats, one clear message
There are two distinct but equally important threads which come together to make a clear case for adoption with any SaaS product. First, what are the benefits? Second, what is the experience? In Taulia’s case this lead to two films being created.
Film style 1: Explainer
Created to sit near the very top of the funnel the explainer video first makes a clear use case for receivables financing by addressing pain points before moving onto Taulia’s innovative solution and the opportunities it unlocks. It’s a simple introduction that packs a punch with branded illustration and uses metaphor to help tell the story.
The film exists to give a top line overview to prospective buyers who are relatively new to Taulia.
Film style 2: Demo
Demo films bring Taulia’s product benefits to life through the lens of the user experience, heavily leveraging the UI style, and written to work with or without voice over, making them a powerful social media tool.
Simplifying the UX/UI for a crystal clear story
With a product as comprehensive as Taulia’s we knew immediately that there was too much going on inside the product to showcase it all.
Instead, we suggested creating the demo using simplified graphics. We built UIs from scratch, based on the real experience but without every detail. Unlike if we had relied on screenshots this simplification gave us the control we needed to focus in on the most important elements - zooming in and out of features and drilling up/down easily without showing every single step. This technique enabled us to give the audience a sense of a seamless user experience without compromising the flow of the narrative.
